Overview :
Every month, Linux Journal helps readers stay on top of the fast-paced world of Linux, with tips for programing & networking, plus industry news, product reviews and gaming. Linux Journal was first published in April of 1994 by Phil Hughes and Bob Young, co-founder of Red Hat. Hughes went on to continue publishing Linux Journal for over a decade and in 2006 turned the reins over to long-time Linux Journal employee Carlie Fairchild. Fairchild is the founder of Belltown Media, Inc., the current publisher of Linux Journal.

There aren't many numbers that put the US national debt to shame, but here's one: 1,100,000,000,000,000. What's that? That's how many floating-point operations per second the Roadrunner supercomputer at Las Alamos can perform.
